Low Carb Peppermint Mocha Martini

Low Carb Peppermint Mocha Martini with a candy cane garnish

The Low Carb Peppermint Mocha Martini is a refreshing, winter-y twist on a classic Low Carb Chocolate Coffee Martini. If you’re like us, it might just be the low carb cocktail version of one of your favorite coffee house drinks.

Low Carb Peppermint Mocha Martini Ingredients

  • 2 shots of chocolate vodka (Van Gogh Dutch Chocolate is a fave)  (0g carbs)
  • 1 tablespoon + 2 teaspoons of low carb peppermint simple syrup (recipe below) (0g carbs)
  • 1 tablespoon of black coffee (0g carbs)
  • 1 tablespoon of whole milk (1g carbs)

Low Carb Peppermint Mocha Martini Directions

Start by making the low carb peppermint simple syrup. In a sauce pan over medium heat combine 1 cup of water, 1/2 cup of Stevia (or other sugar alternative) and 2 teaspoons of peppermint extract.  Heat for a few minutes while stirring, then remove from stove and let it cool.  When the low carb peppermint simple syrup has cooled off, combine the Low Carb Peppermint Mocha Martini ingredients in a shaker filled with ice and shake thoroughly. Strain into a chilled cocktail or martini glass. Garnish with a tiny candy cane. Don’t eat the garnish!

Nutrition Info: Only 1g carb

Our low carb peppermint simple syrup was made with Stevia instead of sugar, so negligble carbs there. The peppermint extract has no carbs. Basically, your only source of carbohydrates in this Low Carb Peppermint Mocha Martini is the one tiny gram from your tablespoon of whole milk. Not bad! One of the lowest carb counts in our Low Carb High Party cocktail menu, but bursting with flavor. You’re going to love this one!
